The House
Cal Joan de l'Hort has been documented in records since the 15th century and is nested in the highest part of Nulles. After the reconstruction and architectural recovery of the different rooms, it shows us the spaces that, over time, have been part of the rural life in the village. The recent renovation, in 2024, has adapted Cal Joan de l'Hort to current comforts, offering guests spacious and diverse spaces overlooking the vineyards.

Activities and places to visit
From Cal Joan de l’Hort, you can do numerous activities and visits. Starting in the village of Nulles and continuing through the region of Alt Camp, the neighbouring cities such as Valls, Reus and Tarragona provide many places of interest in the province. Also, if you feel like it, you can drive to Barcelona in less than an hour.
Nulles
The Modernist Winery of Nulles.
A centuries-old jewel that hides excellent Mediterranean wines and cavas under the Adernats brand. This cathedral of wine offers unique wine tourism activities, such as cart routes between vineyards and sensory dinners under its majestic parabolic arches. You can book through their website .

The Route of the Dry Stone Huts
An authentic experience that will lead you to discover an essential part of the agricultural heritage of this region. In less than 4 kilometers, you will find dry stone huts, simple constructions well integrated into the landscape. Built without any element of cohesion between the stones, they were a point of protection for farmers, tools and small herds. The route runs through forests and still active crop fields.
The Modernist Route of Jujol in Camp de Tarragona
This route invites you to discover unique works created by Josep Maria Jujol, Antoni Gaudí’s collaborator. You can visit Casa Bofarull in Pallaresos, Sanctuary of Our Lady of Montserrat in Montferri, the Church of the Sacred Heart in Vistabella, the Church of the Sacred Heart in Vendrell or the Metropol Theater in Tarragona that will surprise you.
The Route of the Modernist Cellars by Cèsar Martinell
This route invites us to discover the modernist wineries built by the architect Cèsar Martinell, a disciple of Antoni Gaudí, in the regions of Alt Camp and Conca de Barberà. Here we will find authentic “wine cathedrals” that combine art and functionality.
The Ruta of the Castells del Gaià
A fascinating journey through the medieval history of Catalonia. The Gaià River was a natural border between the County of Barcelona and Al-Andalus.
